In Mark 15 we encounter not only Pilate, but Barabbas, the angry mob and a handful of Roman soldiers that all played their part in condemning the Suffering Servant to bloody Calvary. Lets revisit this charged scene and notice how Jesus became the fulfillment of a Messianic prediction in Psalm 118:22, The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. Jesus was rejected by virtually every aspect of humanity at His final trial and torture, so that you might be accepted by God.
