The Seventh Trumpet

Summary:

As we have seen thus far, Revelation is not just a book about the wrath of God—it’s also a book about the worship of God. Punctuated throughout the apocalyptic visions and terrible judgments are incredible moments of worship. It’s as if the windows of heaven are opened and we get a brief glimpse at the sight and sounds of the choirs surrounding God’s throne. At the end of chapter 11 we see the seventh trumpet sounded and a “Hallelujah Chorus” break out among the 24 elders. As the elders sing a new song to the Lamb they offer their praise in four different expressions of adoration.
