Firm Foundations: Core Beliefs of the Christian Faith
Firm Foundations: Core Beliefs of the Christian Faith

A Christian who says that doctrine doesn’t matter is like a doctor who says that anatomy isn’t important, or an architect who think that he doesn't need math to build a bridge. Through out the New Testament we are told to be careful about false doctrine and to know sound doctrine. In this series we will take a crash course in basic Christian doctrine as we examine some of the fundamentals of the faith--the trinity, the deity of Christ, the nature of the atonement, the work of the Holy Spirit, etc.

To Infinity and Beyond!
To Infinity and Beyond!

Have you ever noticed that people spend more time preparing for a 2 week vacation, than they do preparing for where they will spend their eternity. Why is this? Perhaps, its because heaven just seems so distant, ethereal and fantastic. "To Infinity and Beyond" will clarify and answer the most important questions believers have about their future heavenly home. In this series we will look at several interesting issues like why heaven won't be boring, what to think about near-death experiences and accounts of people visiting heaven, what is the millennium and we will tackle many cultural myths about heaven.

The Sovereign and the Suffering: The Book of Job
The Sovereign and the Suffering: The Book of Job

Studying the life of Job is unnerving because as we do so it opens our minds to the reality that in just a matter of hours our world can be shaken to its core. The righteous can and do suffer in this life and in many instances they never know why. It’s fascinating that God doesn't respond to the mystery of human suffering and the problem of evil with a theological treatise, but with a story.Even though the story is four thousand years old, it could have been written yesterday. The reason for its perennial relevance is because it attempts to plumb the depths of the human condition. Job more so than any other book tries to unravel the mystery of man’s suffering in light of God’s sovereignty.
