God, Why Have You Abandoned Me?
Elijah: Prophet of Fire
"Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, " James said. There are few characters in the Scriptures as colorful and courageous as Elijah. His resume is quite impressive--confronting the wicked king Ahab, calling down napalm from the skies and taking off to heaven in chariot of fire. Yet for all his heroism, Elijah was susceptible to human foils and fears. In this series, we will travel with Elijah from his obscure calling, to the top of Mt. Carmel and beyond.
